August 12-14, 2022 • 48h virtual hackathon

What is KuriusHacks?

KuriusHacks is a 48-hour virtual hackathon available to high school, CEGEP, and college students that allow you to make a meaningful effect in your community by addressing actual problems nonprofits face through code!

Last year, we had 500+ participants and 20+ project entries!

New to hackathons?

We understand that participating in your first hackathon might be intimidating. As a result, we've established a beginning track for folks who have never participated in a hackathon before or have little to no coding expertise! The amount of learning displayed via your projects will decide the winners of this track!

Level up your skills with our workshops!

Do you want to learn to code or add a new coding tool to your arsenal? Attend our beginner-intermediate classes on in-demand topics like Vue, Firebase, and Engineering Design to improve your abilities!

Help actual nonprofits.

Kurius collaborates with several charitable organizations to provide YOU, the students, the opportunity to contribute to an ACTUAL social concern by solving a challenge set by one of the organizations during our hackathon!

The entire explanation of each challenge will be included in the participant handbook, which will be emailed to you (they will also be announced during our opening ceremony!).

If you are a nonprofit and would want to give a challenge, please visit our Sponsor or Partner area!
